Greenwich names Samuel Ferris House a historic property, protecting 'ancient landmark' from destruction
A little red house in Riverside built roughly 260 years ago has been named a historic property in Greenwich, granting it local protection against future demolition. The property at 1 Cary Road, known as the Samuel Ferris House, was added to the town’s list of protected properties by the Representative Town Meeting Monday.
